Ok, so technically our bags have been 85% packed for the past two weeks....buuuuttt we recently took inventory, made lists of everything, and weighed them for the 1,303 time--mine are at 49lbs and 48lbs, which is perfect, since we'll be flying down to Provo! They'll load us up with books and study material when we're in the MTC, so it's a good thing that we're allowed 70lbs for international flights. My mom and I have packed all of the heaviest supplies in my carry-on, which means that it currently outweighs a baby elephant. Just kidding. But really. I'll have to coerce a nice gentleman *coughELDERCOLVINcough* into muscling it into the overhead bin for me.

We've been writing a LOT of thank-you notes to our sweet family friends. You guys are too nice! Your generosity is so appreciated :) |

Whenever I'm having a bad day, my mom usually advises me to do one of two things: ride your pony, or play the piano. Since it would be hard to stuff Sophie into my suitcase and meet the 50lb maximum weight, my mom has dutifully copied some of our favorite hymn arrangements and uplifting music. I just know that it will be such a blessing for Garrison and I to have on our missions! |

The packing scene--we're getting so close! |

WE'RE GONNA BE MISSIONARIES SO SOON! |
