My brother Garrison and I were called to serve on February 15th, 2013. He was assigned to labor in Fortaleza and I was called to Rio de Janeiro, and we are both reporting to the Brazil Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, July 10th!
Our mission call opening video has nearly 20,000 views, which is just CRAZY to me! We feel incredibly blessed by this unique opportunity to prepare and learn together. Garrison is essentially my first companion, and it's THE BEST.

I'm 21 years old, and just graduated (May 2013) from Whitworth University with a double major in music and biology, and plan to attend graduate school after my mission to obtain a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

My parents are pretty great. My mom has homeschooled all 6 of us kids, so she is either
a. insane, or
b. the best thing ever.

A few other things about the Colvin clan...
We have a lot of animals. 5 chickens, 2 cats, 2 bearded dragons, 2 miniature dachshunds, and 3 horses.

I take what's probably an unhealthy amount of pictures of our wiener dogs, Tootsie Roll and Freckles. I'm pretty sure I'll be the dachshund version of a "crazy cat lady."

I've grown up with horses, and love to event. We currently have three horses, Toby (top), Sophie (bottom left), and Jake (bottom right).

Even though I love all of our horses, Sophie is extra special. I bought her when she was 4, and have done all of the training on her. She is a phenomenal athlete with an incredible heart!

Last year I did three triathlons and got hooked--it is SUCH a fun sport! Garrison and I are training for a half marathon to get fit for our missions.
